Bard College Info Session

Bard College is a small liberal arts college, located just under 2 hours from New York City, although it feels miles away on its picturesque, lush green campus. According to the Fiske Guide to Colleges: “Bard offers what is arguably the most innovative range of academic programs anywhere”. Literature and creative writing, as well as the performing and visual arts, are strong programs -- but students can also find rigorous science research opportunities. Bard also has a 5-year, dual degree for music students. According to one Bard student, to be successful at Bard, “You don’t need perfect grades. You need an adventurous spirit, an ambitious attitude toward self-improvement, and an ability to reevaluate your experiences and capabilities.”
